Cold…

Okay I’m mad!  I have been back to my college and working closely with a new Career Advisor (a life-time service for going to DeVry, lol.)  I have been to a number of Career Fairs, am active on all of the job portals out there – my resume is definitely in circulation.  I am beginning to wonder if age discrimination could be a factor.

There are supposedly a huge number of jobs out there in the fields in which I work,  but getting that sought-after interview; ah that is the challenge. The resume must be perfect and one must be on their best behavior.  Answer questions with no hesitation.  Appear very confident! Avoid going into details.  Don’t be ‘chatty.’

I have adhered to all of the rules; yet still I persist!
